MEDIATION SERVICES

Our practice specializes in resolving disputes that arise in the workplace and in the course of entertainment projects. As attorneys who have also worked as corporate executives and producers, we believe our collective expertise makes us uniquely qualified to mediate in these venues. In both of these areas, parties often want --or need-- to continue a post-mediation relationship. Our approach is particularly helpful in this regard. In the workplace, the ability to work together optimally towards a common goal is a competitive necessity. And in the entertainment area, it is imperative that creative collaboration flourish. That is why we work with our clients not only to help them resolve the dispute at hand, but also to recognize and thereby avoid unproductive patterns of communication as they move forward. We understand that every conflict is different – the personalities, the issues and the roadblocks to resolution. We offer an environment that recognizes and respects the unique perspective and concerns that each party brings to the table and work closely with our clients to understand and support their respective goals.

We maintain offices in New York City and Southampton, New York. Our Southampton facility offers a beautiful and relaxing environment where parties can “get away from it all” to focus on resolving their dispute. We are also available to mediate onsite.

OUR FEE STRUCTURE

A onetime charge of $300 for intake/set-up; $350 per hour to conduct the mediation, with a guaranteed minimum of 4 hrs; $200 per hour for preparation (document review, interviews with the parties and/or their counsel); and a per diem charge of $150 per day for any mediation that lasts longer than 2 days. We require that the intake and minimum guarantee fees be paid in advance. We accept Visa and Mastercard.
