ABOUT CENTER STAGE MEDIATION

Mark L. Beigelman - is co-founder and Chairman of Center Stage Mediation Services. He is an attorney specializing in media, corporate and entertainment law. He is President of Mark L. Beigelman P.C. and is also of counsel to the law firm of Kaufmann, Feiner, Yamin, Gildin and Robbins LLP. Mark was formerly associated with the firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen and Hamilton. Mark is a certified mediator and received his training from the Center for Mediation in Law. Mark received his law degree from Yeshiva University's Cardozo College of Law. He also has a Master's Degree in Arts Administration from New York University, where he teaches entertainment law as well as the legal aspects of commercial theatrical production.

Mark was a producer of the off-Broadway production of Caryl Churchill’s “Cloud 9” and the Broadway productions of the Tony award-winning musicals “Nine” and “The Tap Dance Kid.” He also served as executive producer of “Trick”, a 1999 entry in the Sundance Film Festival that was released nationally by Fine Line Features. As an attorney, Mark has been production counsel for numerous films including “Sling Blade”, “In the Bedroom”, “Pinero”, “Kissing Jessica Stein” and “Junebug”. He has also performed legal services for a number of Broadway and Off-Broadway productions.

C. Kim McCarthy - is co-founder and President of Center Stage Mediation Services. She is an attorney and certified mediator. Kim completed basic and advanced mediation training with the American Arbitration Association and received additional training from the Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative at Harvard University. She graduated from the George Mason University School of Law.

Prior to establishing Center Stage Mediation, Kim was a healthcare attorney and corporate executive for Corning Incorporated and Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, both of which are Fortune 500 companies. She has extensive experience in regulatory compliance management and related employee training. She has also been involved in numerous workplace mediations involving compliance issues.

Kim is also a theatrical producer. Her credits include “Jane Eyre the Musical” in 2001 (5 Tony nominations) and “ Reno: Rebel Without a Pause” in 2002 (Drama Desk nominee). Kim was also a founding producer of “Brave New World”, a theatre festival of new work commemorating the first anniversary of the September 11th. She is currently developing an independent film production of Antonya Nelson’s novel “Nobody’s Girl”.
